GAME ON, DREAMERS! UNVEILS EXPANDED LINEUP FOR SINGAPORE PLAYFEST THIS DECEMBER

The three-day playfest brings immersive gaming experiences, esports, cosplay, and music to Marina Bay Sands

For Filipinos planning a trip to Singapore this December, Game On, Dreamers! (G.O.D) offers gaming and entertainment experiences to explore. Taking place from 11 to 13 December 2026 at Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre, the three-day festival brings together competitive gaming, cosplay culture, music experiences, and family-friendly play across three themed zones: Dream World, Dream Battle, and Dream Play.

After dark, the Main Stage transforms into R.E.M, a high-energy rave headlined by top international electronic artists including Brennan Heart, Dimension, Fantasm, Hannah Laing, Lilly Palmer, Lost Frequencies and WUJACKERS, alongside local and regional acts like Ezra Hazard, Joshua Dillon, Mr. Yang and Tchuno.

“Gaming transcends the boundaries we live with in the real world,” said Terence Kuek, Executive Producer of Game On, Dreamers! “When we play, we are no longer defined first by our race, language, age or background. We become part of another tribe — one that competes together, creates together, laughs together and dreams together. That human connection is at the heart of Game On, Dreamers!. We are building more than a gaming festival; we are creating a shared playground where different worlds, generations and communities can meet, discover a new experience and imagine what comes next. Because ultimately, we all play, and we all dream. So our invitation is simple: Game on, dreamers. Let’s play as one.”

Dream World: From Iconic Game Universes to Raves After Dark

Dream World brings blockbuster gaming universes to life through immersive environments and experiential storytelling. Visitors can step into the action of street-fighting games, explore suspense-filled walkthroughs and interactive challenges, or dine in themed monster cafés.

Gaming enthusiasts can also explore curated displays, character showcases and nostalgic arcade experiences. Visitors can revisit the games they love, test their skills at interactive gaming stations, challenge friends to friendly match-ups and capture memorable moments at themed photo spots.

After dark, Dream World culminates in R.E.M., a two-night rave set within The Grid, a fictional dystopian world. Designed to bring gamers and ravers together on one massive dance floor, the experience merges dynamic laser displays, striking stage design, and pulse-pounding beats into an immersive after-dark chapter of the playfest.

Dream Battle: Step into the Heart of the Competition

Dream Battle brings together competitive esports, creator energy, live entertainment and community participation. Visitors can catch tournament action across titles including Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), Kill Streak, and Street Fighter. The festival will also host the first-ever Red Bull Wings Cup EA Sports FC27, where top players from Singapore will compete for a spot at the Global Finals in Miami.

Cosplay Fight Club will see cosplayers and creators bring iconic characters to life through choreographed sequences and dynamic stage performances. The competition features an Open category and an invite-only All Stars division, with a judging panel that includes Hollywood action veteran Richard Cetrone and Japanese cosplay pioneer Nobuyuki Takahashi.

Filipino cosplayer Sergio Sta. Ana will represent the Philippines in the All Stars division. A cosplayer, crafter and tailor since 2010, he is known for combining detailed costumes, armor and mechanical elements with creative stage performances.

The arena will also host the Singapore qualifier for the Gyeonggi International Cosplay Festival Championship, sending the winning team to compete in South Korea. At the Cosplayer Marketplace, fans can browse original art, meet independent creators, and connect with more in the cosplay community.

Dream Play: Where Casual Gamers and Families Connect

For casual players, families and pop culture fans, Dream Play combines arcade gaming, lifestyle retail and community culture.

In partnership with Timezone, a massive arcade setup will feature rhythm games like Mai Mai and Taiko, racing simulators such as Initial D and Asphalt 9 VR, and carnival-style classics like Skee Ball and Break the Plate.

Visitors can also browse festival collectibles and merchandise at the Loot Vault, including a capsule collection created with Singapore streetwear collective Projectslacksss.
