Lazada’s 11th Birthday Sale ‘Fast & Forward’ Seller Conference emphasizes empowerment.

Lazada reaffirmed its commitment in being in the business of building businesses at the recently held Lazada’s 11th Birthday Sale “Fast & Forward” Seller Conference.

Looking to carry over its momentum from last year, Lazada plans to continue driving innovation-powered growth to its seller community. Following the theme “Fast & Forward,” part of the plan is to make robust ventures in programs and tools designed to boost the performance of businesses on the platform.

Ramiro highlighted some of Lazada’s newer innovations that brings sellers success. One of which is Every Day 99 & Below that offers the most sulit deals, bringing up to four times more traffic to sellers. Meanwhile, improved sponsor solutions drive visibility to stores, enhancing conversion up to 24 times ROI. Lastly, the rewarding LazTop program inspires sellers to reach their full potential.

A panel discussion was also held to get insights and inspiration from the real-life stories of success from Lazada’s very own seller ambassadors in taking their businesses fast and forward. 

When asked about the programs that have helped their business grow in Lazada, Ravi Jadhwani of First Aid said there are many that are very effective, but one of them is Sponsored Solutions because the AI is very good at matching the keywords with the customer, and that has resulted in more sales and LazTop. “For many, it might seem like it’s just a badge, but for us, it was a badge of credibility,” he said. 

Alex Wu of Ninety-Nine Point Nine Boutique also added, “One of the best programs Lazada had to offer was the free shipping max, because even before we joined, we noticed a spike in conversions from our sellers whenever we ran our own free shipping campaigns. Second would be the cashback program; it helped us retain loyal customers because they could use the credit that they got from the purchase to buy again from our store. Last would be the affiliate program; we use this to market products that we usually don’t market to keep our store moving.”

Kristine Andaya of Kanna Beauty mentions how they stay competitive in the growing market and said that the turning point was in 2019 when Lazada evolved with badges and decoration. “Thinking of the customer and making sure what the impact of the product is especially important in our store’s category, which is health, so the legitimacy, flexicombo, and vouchers are important.” 

Luv Pelingon of HapiHomes Furniture said that they usually go with the trends. They go with the flow and do experiments by using the tools Lazada provides to know what works best for their store and to retain their customers. “We answer them as quickly as possible; every second is an opportunity for the business, and we give customers the satisfaction that they need and put a smile on their faces.” she added. 

As for advice to the sellers to make sure they start their first mega campaign of the year successfully, Ellenita Red of iChubby PH emphasized supporting other sellers, especially if you need them for your business. “Study your sales revenue data, manage your inventory, join the Lazada programs, and provide our customers with what will give them the best value because, at the end of the day, what we want is to give a good customer experience. This will help your store move fast and forward on being one of Lazada’s top sellers.” she said.
